History of ICU

The following information is the history of ICU. International Christian University was founded in March 2016 in Canoga Park, California, USA. The ICU is based on the word of God as the expansion of the kingdom of God and the Great Commission.

Jesus declared,

''All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Surely I am with you always to the end of the age'' (Matthew 25:18-20).

The plan to establish ICU was to train prospective pastors, spiritual leaders and all who desire to know more of God's word for personal enrichment and perform the Great Commission. George Moore was called to the ministry in 1985, and God has used him to preach the gospel internationally and thousands of men and women have saved through the ministry. For several years he felt led of God to start this institution. He discussed the issue with Amon Bernavides and upon encouragement from him the university got started. We are looking forward to the coming years with the opportunity to touch the lives of men and women who will have the knowledge to impact this world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
